At Engine Tech Hub, we ship quality car and boat engines to customers across the United States. Because engines are large, heavy, and valuable, we take extra care in how they’re packaged and delivered. This Shipping Policy explains how our shipping works, what to expect, and what to do when your engine arrives. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.


Where We Ship

We are based in Texas and ship to customers nationwide across all 50 U.S. states. At this time, we ship within the United States only. If you have a special delivery request, contact us and we’ll do our best to help.


Shipping Costs

  • Shipping cost is based on the size, weight, and destination of your engine.
  • Your exact shipping charge is calculated and displayed before you complete your order — no hidden fees or surprises.
  • For large or freight shipments, we’ll confirm the final shipping quote with you before processing.

Order Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed.
  • Processing may take longer for special-order or sourced engines; if so, we’ll keep you informed of the timeline.
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the next business day.

Delivery Time

  • Once shipped, most engines arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your location and the carrier.
  • Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed, as transit can be affected by carrier schedules, weather, and other factors outside our control.
  • You will receive an estimated delivery window when your order ships.

How Engines Are Shipped

Because of their size and weight, most engines ship via freight (LTL) carrier, not standard parcel delivery:

  • Engines are securely crated or palletized to protect them in transit.
  • Larger shipments are delivered to the curb or driveway by freight carriers.
  • You may need a forklift, liftgate, or additional help to unload heavier engines. If you require liftgate service or have a limited-access delivery location (residential, no dock, etc.), let us know when ordering so we can arrange it.

Tracking Your Order

Once your engine ships, we’ll send you tracking information by email so you can follow your shipment to your door. If you haven’t received tracking details within a reasonable time after ordering, contact us and we’ll update you right away.


Delivery Inspection — Important

Please inspect your shipment carefully at the time of delivery:

  • Check the crate, pallet, and engine for any visible damage before signing.
  • If you notice any damage, note it on the delivery receipt and take photos immediately.
  • Do not install a visibly damaged engine.
  • Contact us right away so we can help resolve the issue with the carrier.

Documenting damage at delivery is essential for us to file a claim on your behalf.


Missed or Failed Deliveries

Freight carriers typically schedule a delivery appointment for large shipments. If you miss a scheduled delivery or the carrier is unable to deliver, you may be responsible for redelivery or storage fees charged by the carrier. Please be available for your delivery appointment or arrange an alternative in advance.


Incorrect Shipping Information

Please make sure your shipping address and contact details are accurate at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or misdeliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete address information. If you notice an error after ordering, contact us immediately and we’ll correct it if the order hasn’t yet shipped.


Lost or Delayed Shipments

If your shipment is significantly delayed or appears to be lost in transit, contact us. We’ll work with the carrier to locate your engine and keep you updated until the issue is resolved.


Local Pickup

Local pickup from our Texas facility may be available for some orders. If you’d prefer to pick up your engine in person, contact us before ordering to confirm availability and arrange a time.
